EASY TO READ ELECTION CAMPAIGN: BEST PRACTICES IN EUROPE

Shared this document

Inclusion Europe and My Opinion my vote encourage people with intellectual disabilities to vote in next European Elections.

Inclusion Europe has produced an easy-to-read brochure on the European elections to raise awareness and to engage people with intellectual disabilities to actively participate in the elections this year.

The brochure explains what the EU is, how the elections work, who is entitled to vote, and how to vote.  In producing this brochure, Inclusion Europe is working together with the efforts of the European Disability Forum in its campaign 'Disability Votes Count'.

To find out more information about the next European elections and how to participate, visit the Inclusion Europe European elections webpage.  EU political party manifestos are available in an easy-to-read format on the My Opinion, My Vote website.
